Ohio Hemp Industry

A 2023 economic impact report on the U.S. cannabinoid industry estimated that Ohio’s hemp-derived cannabinoid market could be worth nearly $75 million with around 8,157 jobs in the industry. It is estimated that there are around 6,000 businesses operating in Ohio’s hemp supply chain.

Georgia Hemp Industry

With an estimated 4,100 licensed hemp businesses, Georgia is one of the largest state markets for hemp CBD products in the US.

Wisconsin Hemp Industry

Wisconsin mainly grows hemp for floral biomass which accounted for 98% of its 2025 harvested acreage. The state also has a robust hemp products market which is estimated to be worth $700 million in economic production.

Tennessee Hemp Industry

Tennessee’s hemp market has started to recover from the market correction, with 335 acres planted and 305 acres harvested in 2025, of which 92% were floral hemp. The state’s annual hemp-derived CBD sales are estimated at $75 – $100 million.
